Please use this form to contact us with questions or comments about the Essex Rivers Hub, to volunteer to help or to suggest a project that would improve the ecological status of one of the rivers or estuaries. If you are suggesting a project, please remember to include the project name, location and details.

If you feel you have an emergency that needs urgent action and includes the following:

 - Pollution in rivers, lakes and streams.

 - Flooding incidents

 - Illegal dumping of waste in rivers or on land

 - Distressed or dying fish.

Then please call the Environment Agency's Emergency number 0800 80 70 60, this is a free 24 hour service (from landlines).

If you feel this doesn't cover your emergency then call Essex Wildlife Trust on 01621 862960 and they will do their best to help you. They are only available Monday-Friday 9-5.

We are currently seeking volunteers for the following projects:

 

Himalayan balsam pulling (June onwards)

Riverfly monitoring

Mink raft monitoring

Riversearch surveys


 

Training will be required for some of these projects, but specialist knowledge is not always neccesary. To find out more about any of these opportunities please contact us using the form opposite.
