Essex Rivers Hub

Improvement to existing habitat creation

Expansion of improvements already made in this area which currently including tree planting and management of grassland.

Other possible improvements are expansion of the reed bed, connecting of reed bed area to channel (scrape), reprofiling of channel allowing a wetland area to establish and installation of Sustainable drainage systems (SUDS) to reduce impact of urban runoff (pipes).

We would need to establish ownership and work with the owner(s) to determine their vision for the area and try to incorporate river restoration projects within this.

If you know who owns this land or have any questions or suggestions regarding this project then please get in touch with us via the Contacts tab.
