Essex Rivers Hub

M25 and A13 area

These major roads cross the river channel in the form of bridges far above the channel. These bridges result in rubbish and debris littering the channel itself and surrounding land.

We would like to see better fencing of these bridges to reduce the rubbish that can enter the channel and more effort made to clear rubbish from the Mardyke and surrounding land to reduce the impact this can have on water quality and wildlife.

Please contact us if you have any questions or suggestions regarding this project idea.
